Australia Day @ Melbourne

Flinders Street Station

Today is officially Australia's National Day. This is yearly celebrated in Australia to remember the arrival of the First Fleet in Sydney Cove in 1788.

Today is the day for parades, family meet-ups, picnics and barbecues. Although this event started in New South Wales, this official public holiday is celebrated across Australia.

Australia National Day is also called as Foundation Day or Anniversary Day. Alternatively, National Day is also known as Survival Day or Invasion Day.
